A visit to Stourbridge Glass Museum opens up a range of teaching resources not available in the classroom, based around the Museums’ extraordinary collection of glass and historic resources to give your class a unique cross – curricular learning experience, suitable for Key Stages 1 – 4.

From inspirational gallery visits to creative workshops, online teacher resources to hot glass demonstrations by Allister Malcolm and his team, Stourbridge Glass Museum is the place for creative learning.

Our experiences immerse pupils in the world of art and design, connecting the design and thinking process with the rich historical context of Stourbridge Glass Museum’s collection.

Self Led Museum Experience

  • Each experience is for a maximum of 30 pupils. Due to the size of our activity room, each activity is for a maximum 15 pupils.

 

For example: A group of 30 pupils will be split into 2 groups, one group in the activity room, the other in the museum galleries, swapping after a lunch break. Schedules can be adapted to suit your needs.

 

If the visit is 2 smaller groups of 15 on two different days, the minimum charge applies to each day.

  • There is no charge for accompanying adults.
